When You're Sad, Write
I've heard of this advice from various sources. And they all say: "When you are feeling down, write." It can be a blog post, a diary entry, a short story - anything to get your mid off the pain you feel inside.
It doesn't work for me though. First of all, when I am sad, the last thing I want to do is write. And even I decide to try, my mind just keep wandering and I cannot really focus on writing.
Different people have different ways of dealing with sadness. For me, it can be a good song, a hug, and of course, cats. My cats, stray cats, cats on internet - they are everywhere!
Usually, though, these things can help only for a while, be just a temporary solution.
You may or may not have noticed I haven't been posting for longer than usual. And the reason.. well, it may seem silly for some, some may just fail to understand, but long story short, I was sad, and I needed some time to deal with it.
You know, it is OK to feel down. Not all days are filled with rainbows and sunshine, and dark clouds may come, but be sure, sun will always rise, and know this - it gets better.
