Land of the Wacky: Hair Glasses, Barbie Heads & Tattooed Ponies

163 miesięcy temu

Lately it’s as if fashion’s in a stage where the most seemingly offensive combos are, well, the most appealing and surprisingly refreshing: fanny packs, feathers, cracked nail polish. The initial “what the h-e-double hockey sticks” moment passes, and we find ourselves inevitably embracing all that is unique…and odd. Human hair glasses, barbie-doll head necklaces, my little punk pony…wait, rewind. Don’t worry—our eyebrows are still raised at that list too. But that doesn’t stop us from letting you decide whether or not these things are a fashion do, or a fashion dump. Let the wackiness ensue.

Human Hair Glasses

After we got over the shock value that the words “human hair” and “glasses” have together, we realized the frames themselves are pretty trendy and actually super cool. Woven with human hair, the glasses are 100% biodegradable, but we all know finding someone else’s hair on you is never pleasant. Would you ever be able to get over that fear and rock these shades? Learn about the collection here.

Slightly-Off Jewelry

Barbie doll heads, check. Colorful beads, check. Nuts and bolts, check. Necklace, check. Wait, what?! All the fixings for a one-of-a-kind piece, that’s for sure. Ah, flashbacks of Sid from Toy Story come storming to mind. Enter this crazy odds & ends webstore for some out-there jewelry but beware- because it isn’t filled with daisies and bows.

My Little Punk Pony

OK, so maybe this isn’t exactly fashion but it camouflages quite well within this mix. Each year Hasbro releases a special Comic-con Edition My Little Pony and  this year’s gem is a dyed hair, tatted up pony. This My Little Pony wouldn’t be the best gift for your baby sister, but we’ll take it!
