Inspired by St Patrick's Day

93 miesięcy temu

Hello, dolls!
St Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th, and we pay tribute to one of Ireland's - and the world's - most prominent saints. The colour green has become synonymous with the celebration of St Patrick's Day around this time each year - green is vibrant, fresh and is the inspiration for today's makeup look.

Eyes: The eyes are the exciting component of this look. Go as big as possible! I used several shades of green to achieve this look, and recommend using a brighter green on the inner corners and a darker, more subdued green on the rest of the lid and outer corners, as well as throughout the crease. Use a matching soft green for your waterline, and some green eyeliner on the upper lashline to create some depth. Use a black liner to create a wing for added drama, and of course, line the inner corners in white or skin toned to open the eyes.

Lips: Lips should be natural and subtle, to compliment the eyeshadow. Select a pink or brown nude. I layered a darker lipstick under a nude one to achieve this.

Face: Keep the face fresh, youthful and glowing. Highlight the upper cheekbones and keep contour and blush light, or avoid it altogether as I did. The key is to emphasise the eyes and use the rest of the face to compliment it.
