It’s no secret that Emma Watson is the world’s most sought-after nerd. After her portrayal as Harry Potter‘s Hermione Granger, the bushy-headed, bright-eyed book worm, Watson was launched into a life of fame. And while HP was her baseboard for a fabulous career, she’s made a name for herself outside the series. Slinking away from the geeky girl she played onscreen, Watson slowly began to explore the magical world of fashion. Audiences found themselves anticipating Potter premieres solely to examine her newest sartorial ventures. When she announced her plans to be the face of Burberry in 2009, we were none too surprised. So now we pay homage to beautifully blossomed starlet with the first-rate ensembles she’s so elegantly worn over the years.

Watson famously suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction with this vintage 1970′s Ozzi Clark gown. The bottom flew open just a bit, but unlike other stars, she at least had underwear on!

And we end at her starting days. Who knew this little girl in a simple gray dress and matching purple shoes and fur shawl would have grown to be such a world-class fashionista?
