How To Survive Being Sick

110 måneder siden

Hi Dollies,

I hope you're all doing well even though it is getting super cold at the moment. I feel like Fall really came upon us in the blink of an eye, especially here in the UK. One day I leave the house and the sun is out, no jacket needed, the next day I leave the house and it's freezing!

And I know, during this time a lot of people get sick, including me! So I decided to compile tips, tricks and things to do when you're sick to get you back on track.

Don't go to school/work
Just don't. Yes, you might miss something but if you go you run risk of infecting others, so instead just take the day off.
Fun fact: That's how I got sick. My co-worker came to work sick, now, two days later, I'm sick, too!

Drink up!
For me tea is the best antidote. I just drink lots of tea when I'm sick, usually Chamomile tea, as it helps to ease any kind of pain I'm having.

Eat Up!
Soup is the best thing, let me tell you that.

Be as comfy as possible
Get all the cushions and blankets that you might need! You'll be staying in bed all day, maybe even more than a day so you should make sure that you're comfortable.

Goodbye, Electronics
... says the girl sitting on her laptop, enjoying herself on Stardoll. Of course, I don't mean completely shutting down all electronics but definitely spend as little time as possible on there. Instead, catch up on sleep and let your body do its magic and heal you up asap.

I know, these are all basic things but they are also essential. Plus, they'll make you heal up much quicker.

Love always,
A. Rose
