The Ombré Lip
In today's fashion, everything is ombre- from clothing to hair, eyebrows to jewelery, and now the ombré lip. This is something I've seen everywhere on high-end makeup blogs and websites. Some popular combinations of colours are dark purple to baby pink and red to medium pink.
The idea behind the ombré lip is to create the illusion of fuller lips- either by focusing the colour on the center of the lip or highlighting the center of the lip.
There are 3 ways to do this in stardoll, all involving Transform lipgloss. I'm going to discuss all 3.1. Picking a dark lipgloss for the corners of the lips will highlight and bring forward the center of the lip, making them look fuller. Make sure this is applied gradually!
For this look, I used Dot: deep pink lipstick with Transform: chocolate lipgloss2. Applying a brighter lipstick in the center will make your lips look larger and more rounded. You can also vary the amount of lipgloss you put on each lip depending on which is larger to make them appear more even! This is the most subtle ombré.
I used: Dot: Magenta Lipstick and Transform: venice red lipgloss3. Using only 1 bright lipgloss, apply a thin layer all over the lip, then go back and apply more to the center of both lips, all the way down. This will make flat lips look more pouty and kissable, even when relaxed!
I used: Transform: Peach Lipgloss
