Today we yet again explore bold lipstick choices, and today's focus is the colour blue. Available in numerous shades, this look is bold, edgy and attention-grabbing. I selected a lighter blue, however other shades such as navy or teal would also work. Gucci's Resort [] '17 show reminded us of the wonders of blue lipstick - and there are a few tips and tricks to ensure that you don't finish with a frostbite look. 

Eyes: Keep the eyes monochrome. Black, whites and greys are the shades of choice - I only used a dark grey eyeshadow and a white to open the inner eyes, as well as a dramatic wing to fit the edginess of the look. As the eyeshadow isn't elaborate or the focus of the look, volumize or lengthen your lashes well. 

Lips: The lips, of course, are whatever shade of blue you desire. Lighter blues convey a more fun, daytime look, whilst darker blues communicate a more serious nighttime look. 

Face: Use a soft blush and plenty of highlight to create a dewy, glowing and youthful look. Contour can be used, but as the lips are the feature of this look, keep it light. I also added a septum piercing to the look for an extra edge.
