An age old pattern that has always been popular has been spotted many times on runways in recent months- that's right, stripes are seriously on trend! From Marc Jacobs to Balenciaga, stripes of all sorts have been popping up in new designs and in red carpet stylings. Here are a few ways you could try styling this pattern!

Subtlety
Love the stripy look but don't want to go all out? Choose a clothing item that incorporates stripes, but doesn't overuse them. In the picture above, you can see the first doll utilising this styling strategy by wearing the Balmain Striped Bianca Trousers, which feature thick white stripes down the side of the legs, leaving a black space in the middle. I chose to pair this item with black and white accessories to continue the striped colour combination to the rest of the look!

Multiples
The second look in the picture above was created by pairing two striped items together. For this look, I chose items with thin stripes in contrasting colours- a concept which I felt came out looking really interesting. As doubling up on stripes meant the outfit looked quite busy, I kept accessories minimal with a simple white shoe! See if you can use multiple striped items in an outfit- experiment and see if you can make it work.

Colours
Colourful stripes have been very popular recently, especially in resort wear. I chose to style the Antidote Balenciaga Inspired Handbag in my final look, as it is bright, fun, and beachy. If you're trying to style colourful stripes, it can be helpful to choose accessories in colours that are already used in the pattern! This can really help bring the look together.
