When I logged into Stardoll on Tuesday I had recieved a very exciting message - I had been chosen as a new Starblogger! I feel like all of my hard work and devotion to blogging has finally paid off and I am so happy that my articles can now reach a wider audience.

This post is an introduction to my influences and personal style. In general, I love to blog about the 80s, 90s and 00s, whether it's a Film or Television character, Music artist (or even genere) or the pop-culture of that era.

Currently, my style inspiration comes from The Spice Girls, Bratz Dolls, Clueless, and the Beverly Hills 90210 girls. I adore Baby Spice's super cute aesthetic, Sporty's laidback leisurewear, Posh's classic black dress and two-pieces, and Scary and Ginger's overall confidence. Bratz had the chunky boots, platforms and mini skirts, but I also love their attitude. Cher and Dionne (Clueless) have the perfect preppy look, with plaid co-ords, mini backpacks and slip dresses (worn over baby tees), and last but not least, the girls of 90210 have the ultimate laidback, 90s look - mom jeans and double denim, slouch socks, and simple sweatshirts. 

Moving on, some of the staple pieces that I cannot live without are -

• Mini slip dresses - worn over a baby tee or turtleneck
• Mini skirts - I love Burberry and cow print, denim and classic black.
• Chunky, platform boots
• Mini Backpacks
• Chokers
