After a series of events, one of them being reading Real.StarGirl's post, (if you haven't already, please go check it out!) I felt the need to write this post. At the end of it, she made this point: Did you know? If people are defending their music taste, they might do this because they feel the music defines them.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of hate circling around the internet concerning my favorite music. Most of the time I avoid giving haters any type of reaction, but I decided to step in because they were making up lies about my favorite band! If you're a music lover like me, you know hard that is.

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything, but then again I could have just been a loyal fan. Regardless, there is a saying"You know my name, not my story!" This is so true! Do you know how many lives have been saved because of a certain artist or genre? Think about that before you decide to put down someone's music.
