Styling Runway
To kick off Fashion Week, Stardoll released a new collection of Runway! The collection saw a mix of brands that were both familiar and new to Stardoll, including Balenciaga, Jacquemus, Mugler and Rosie Assoulin. For this post, I have styled some of the pieces!
Starting with my first outfit, I chose this great jacket inspired by Ganni and was shown at Copenhagen Fashion Week. On the runway it was paired with a pair of thigh-high boots (included in Runway), but I decided to style it with my favorite neon longsleeve which is a perfect match for the jacket. I then added a pair of simple bike shorts, heeled hiking boots and a casual bag. With my next outfit, I chose the green Balenciaga sweater. This was one of my favorite pieces from their Fall 2018 runway, so I was super excited to see it had been brought to Stardoll! Instead of styling it with the pleated skirt, I styled it with a pair of leather pants. I love the contrast between the two pieces - the fluffy sweater and leather motocross inspired pants. I continued with an edgier vibe, choosing a chain waist-bag, leather cap and classic boots.
With my last two outfits, I chose to style some of the tailored pieces. The first being this amazing fringed blazer, inspired by Mugler. I kept the styling minimal, choosing a long white shirt worn as a dress, some classic heels and a beret. To complete the outfit, I would add a mini handbag. You could also add a pair of tailored pants. With my final outfit, I had to style this incredible blue pantsuit! I went for a statement color-blocking look, adding a printed blue blouse and a yellow Off-White bag that picks up on the print of the blouse. I added a pair of minimal heels and hoops to complete the outfit.
