Jealousy: The Real Deal
Hi everyone! Beatrix here.
Jealousy. It's an ugly word with an ugly meaning, and I'm not going to lie, I'm a very jealous person.
Jealousy happens when you compare yourself with others. For example, I compare myself to another blogger who gets published way more frequently than me, and that has led to nothing but me feeling bad.
I'm not going to give you "ten tips on how to stop being jealous!," because honestly that's not how human emotions work. It's natural to feel jealous, and it's natural to feel bad for yourself!
Sometimes, you're right to be feeling jealous and bad for yourself! The real deal on jealousy, is that there is never a way to stop feeling it, but you can avoid it by stopping yourself from comparing yourself to others.
Think of what you have! For example, I absolutely despise my real life nose and lips and I used to compare myself to others all day. But now, I've stopped and focused on the parts of myself I love, such as my wild, wavy hair!Take time out of your day to notice things you love about yourself, dolls.
You're never conceited when you love yourself, remember that...and you're never a criminal for feeling human emotions.
