Styling It Girls
For this blog post, I have styled a few items from some of the recent It Girls outfits.
Starting with my first outfit, I chose this black cropped blazer with a boxy fit, which is easily one of my favorite items from the daily outfit releases. I styled the blazer with a black miniskirt, taking inspiration from the DIY cropped jacket and skirt two-piece made from one oversized blazer. I then added a black leather belt with gold hardware, a headband, black mini bag, lace-up heels, and a pair of mixed metal earrings. Next, I chose these knee-high lace-up heels from Versace Spring 2020, which I styled with this ditsy floral print silk slip dress with a thigh-high slit, which I thought was perfect for showing the heels. Then, I added a selection of gold jewelry, a pair of gold frame sunglasses with green-tinted lenses, and then a Versace clutch bag. You could also add an oversized black blazer to this look.
Then, I chose another one of my recent favorites to style, which is this olive-green leather blazer from Prada Resort 2019. I love the combination of a sporty style with classics items, so I paired the blazer with a black sports bra and a pair of low-rise sweatpants, which I tucked into a pair of Miu Miu Fall 2014 clear rain boots that have a matching olive-green fabric. To accessorize, I added a black cap, mini bag, and gold jewelry. For my next outfit, I chose this green bag with gold chain straps, which I matched to the scenic print on these Balenciaga jeans. I added a white tank-top, a white blazer worn over one shoulder, and a pair of slouchy boots. To complete the outfit, I added a gold chain belt, a pair of classic gold hoops, and green sunglasses.
For my next outfit, I chose these dark green strappy sandals with a block heel. I went for a minimal theme, with the white Jacquemus ‘La Robe Saudade’ dress and puffy headband. I also love this dress layered with a pair of relaxed white pants. To match the shoe, I added some green jewel earrings (although simple silver hoops would also work), and a white leather shoulder bag with a silver chain strap and green detail. For my final outfit, I wanted to style these khaki pants which have a v-shape cut-out reminding me of the popular '00s trend of wearing low-rise pants with visible thong straps. Going for another minimal theme, I paired the pants with a cropped white tank top and strappy heels. For a bag, I thought this Dion Lee pouch was a perfect choice with similar muted green shades to the pants and silver zip. To complete the outfit, I added a pair of silver hoops.
