Gucci Holiday Tribute
This tribute season saw the return of Gucci, with the last tribute store for the brand being back in 2017! While the collection was inspired by Spring/Summer 2020, when I was pulling previous pieces from my wardrobe, I noticed a few items that would be perfect for some holiday-themed outfits.
For my first outfit, I chose this oversized cardigan, with a green and red print. I layered it with a frill-neck blouse and added some classic black pants. I added a cute beret and a pair of pointed boots, and then a spiked handbag, which is a nice contrast to the more classic pieces. With my next outfit, I went for the green track jacket. Instead of the matching pants, I styled the jacket with some leather cycle shorts, a cross-body bag and a pair of matching boots. I then added the green beanie to match the jacket, and some red and green striped white socks, and some Gucci sunglasses.
For my next outfit, I chose this Gucci monogram print coat, which came from last year's holiday calendar! I couldn't resist pairing it with the matching pants that I made, and then kept the rest of the outfit classic, with the blouse and black bow, heels, and headband. I then added some gold accents, which work with the buttons on the jacket perfectly. I then chose another cardigan, this time a cream one with red and black trim. I paired it with a black shirt with a white collar (a turtleneck would work as an alternative), and then a pair of tailored shorts, as a change from a pair of slacks. For accessories, I went for a beret, statement sunglasses, and rhinestone heart hoops. The Chanel bag is a perfect match with the red and white detail. For shoes, I chose a pair of black heels, but you could choose a pair of loafers instead.
For my final outfits, I went for a super glam theme! This glitter fringe coat is perfect for the festive season, and for a head-to-toe statement, I added some matching glitter tights. To contrast the glitter, I added a white shirt underneath with the ruffle collar and sleeves showing. I then chose some pink sunglasses and rhinestone earrings, a cupid heart bag and simple heels. For my last outfit, I chose this gorgeous dark green gown. I added delicate gold jewelry to accentuate the plunging neckline, and some XL hoop earrings (totally optional). I added a black headband, leather pouch bag with a gold handle, and some black heels with gold detail to complete the outfit.
Happy Holidays, and thank you for reading!
