We spotted Kelly Rowland looking staggeringly beautiful at Interscope Geffen A&M Records’ Creme Of The Crop Post-BET Awards dinner celebration. With her long, silky locks and cleverly cut dress, the R&B songstress made our jaws drop. But the cherry on top of this sizzling sundae is Rowland’s sultry eye makeup, which may seem to be a typical smoky eye, but upon second glance, we noticed a bit of electric pink peeking out. We needed to have this look, stat. So here’s how to get it.

L’Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Color Smokes Quad Eyeshadow in Blackened Smokes, Target, $6. Step one in creating this look will take a fair amount of blending and layering of the colors in this shadow quad. Begin with shadow number 2, and swipe it completely over the lid. You can be liberal with your coverage because the gunmetal shade takes a few layers to show up. Be sure to cover your entire lid and even reach down right near the inner corner of your eye. Blend on shadow number 4 into your crease, up onto the brow just a bit. Sweep shadow number 3 onto the brow bone and a little into your inner corner, but not too much! We want to focus on the dark colors of this look. Finally use shadow 1 on the outer 3/4 of your eyelid. Once all the colors are applied, blend them together with your eyeshadow brush.

Cream Liner in Zero, Urban Decay, $22. Smudge a cream liner along your upper and lower lash lines. Brush up as close to the lash line as possible and don’t extend the liner all the way to the inner corner (Raccoon eyes? No thank you!). Then get your L’Oreal quad back out because we’re going to dab shadow number 1 over your lining work.

M.A.C. Wonder Woman Pigment in Bright Fuchsia, Nordstrom, $21. Now for the pop of pink! Grab a smudge brush or angled eyeshadow brush to slide on the neon shadow. Work the color up into the inner corner of your eye and down underneath your eyeliner. Don’t spread the color the complete length of the liner, simply end the pink right after the black starts.
