Hi dollies!

I was wondering whether I should make a new series of posts about trends and how to create them to suit anyone.

Today's trend will be burgundy lips. Burgundy is one of my favourite colours, I'm not a massive red fan, but this shade is so rich and deep it is one of the best shades in my opinion.

Burgundy lips are a great Autumn statement, it is festive too. 

Here I have used the dot burgundy lipstick, it is a really nice colour and it is warm with more of a brown pigment than red, which suits my complexion.

If you have paler skin, I would recommend a burgundy shade with either a pink or red pigment undertone. If you want your lips to have more of a dramatic and bold look, brown pigments are great too!

Some people are quite apprehensive when approaching a dark lip colour, but there is definitely a shade out there that will suit you.
