The few times that Michelle Obama has been criticized by the fashion community, its come from the big wigs—the major American designers whose clothes never really lack for press, but repeatedly lose out to fresh young faces when it comes to the First Lady’s wardrobe. But this weekend, for the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C., Michelle chose a strapless blue Vera Wang gown, capping off a huge year for the already beloved designer.
