We’re all starry eyed over here looking at Miu Miu’s addition to the fall collections—a sneaker that beyond dazzles us from behind the computer screen. While the glitter-coated pumps were a sight for sore eyes coming down the Miu Miu’s 2011 fall runway, if you’re looking to add some shine to your everyday step, just slide on a pair of these gems.

One glance at that price tag, and we only wish it would rain silver and gold. Whether you’re saving up for those babies or looking to save a pretty penny, we have something fun you can do. Make your own pair of glitz glam shoes with these DIY instructions below! What You’ll Need: Mod Podge ($4-8 at craft stores or here), glitter, foam brush, clear glaze spray, arts & craft store gems and/or studs, hot glue gun, pair of plain sneakers of your choice (Keds, Toms, converse, etc. will all do). How You’ll Do It:

1. Mix your Mod Podge with a lot, a lot of glitter.

2. Coat your shoe wherever your heart desires glitter. Remember, Mod Podge dries clear, so don’t worry if it looks like a hot mess right now.

3. Let you initial coat dry. Mod Podge takes from about 20-30 minutes to dry.

4. Add another layer, and let the shoe dry until you are satisfied.

5. Spray your clear glaze and let your shoes sit. (Hey, remember patience is a virtue!)

6. Using a hot glue gun, mark the spots where you want to add some gems and studs. Quickly place them on because you don’t want the hot glue to dry! Cover the entire toe with some studs or come up with your own design.

7. Walk around like the glam girl that you are!
