Keeping a Journal

il y a 109 mois

Hi all, Alice here!

A journal is a writer's escape - somewhere they can be completely themselves and trust in who and what they are.

As some of you may be aware, one of my resolutions this year was to keep a journal. I have wanted to do this for a long time now but have never had the patience to do so as it involves writing in it daily.

I have decided to help all of you keep a journal full of your thoughts:

* Try to write in it daily -

This is honestly the part that trips me up, but it doesn't matter too much if you miss a day or two; just try to write in it at least once a week if you are busy!

* Do not be afraid to write your feelings -

This is the most important reason I am keeping a journal. There is just some stuff I do not feel comfortable sharing with others but still need to get out of my head. Try to write how you are feeling as it is great stress relief - trust me!

* Doodle! -

I love to draw and if literature isn't your forte you can always draw to express how you are feeling or what happened in your day. Remember, this is YOUR journal and you are free to do what you please with it...

* Decorate it -

This could range from the cover to the pages, make sure to personalize it as it is completely yours and should stay true to you...

I hope this really helped you all and I hope you enjoy keeping your journal!
