Being Bullied?

hace 110 meses

Bullying is when a person or group of people aims to hurt you over a period of time - trying to make your life awful. This can happen online, at school, at work, and at any age, and it is never okay.

If you are being bullied emotionally, phisically, or in any other way, here are some things you can do about it.

Talk About It
Firstly: Tell a trusted adult that you are being bullied. A parent, teacher, doctor, or counsellor would be a good choice! Sharing your feelings can really help, and the person you tell can also help figure things out between you and the people who are bullying you.
Secondly: Talk to your support network about it. This means your friends, family, and anyone else who you feel like you can share your feelings with! People who think you're awesome can always help you feel better. You might even like to look into bullying support groups!

Build Yourself Back Up!
After being hurt by others, it's important to help yourself regain your confidence and self esteem. Try creating a list of all the reasons why you are amazing! You can get your friends to help too if you're having trouble. If you find yourself with ongoing problems, it might be a good idea to try a few therapy sessions - they can really help!

What is your advice for people dealing with bullies?
