The Little Things

hace 124 meses

Hi everyone! Beatrix here.

Life is so stressful, and sometimes it's so hard to cope with. Sometimes, in school you learn more about hiding your tears and masking your panic attacks rather than about mathematics or history.

And that's sad.

We get so caught up with work ethics and harsh routines that we forget that our mental stability is just as important as our physical health and our education.

So, if you need it, I'm asking you take a moment after you read this article.

Take a moment and lie on the floor, somewhere cool but moderately comfortable.

Take a moment and think about yourself, of all the things you've accomplised. Try to remember your life from your earliest memory to now. Recall all of the happy moments, all of the sad moments. Recall every emotion back to you.

When your mind has run out of ideas - think about what makes you happy. Is it reading your favorite book? Going to the beach? Just reflect on what makes you happy.

Now think about how much time you engage in doing what makes you happy.

Dolls, if your schoolwork is taking up so much time that you feel you can't even have emotions - something is wrong.

Please take some time out of your day and focus on yourself. You are important and you need to have time for yourself. Focus on the little things, and what makes you happy.

Take care.
