Katherine Heigl visitó el centro de rescate de animales de Villalobos, que es el centro de refugio más grande para perros Pit Bull en Estados Unidos.
La actriz que es conocida por su rol en la serie estadounidense Anatomía de Grey visitó el centro junto a su madre y fueron llevadas eb un tour por el centro que tiene cerca de 200 perros. Las dos son grandes amantes de los perros y están muy dedicadas a crear conciencia sobre estos perros abandonados en Los Angeles.
Aquí también viven lobos, mapaches, una pantera, osos y un tigre.
