GAME REVIEW - Episode 1
Hey sugar cubes!
Here is the start of a new blog series, GAME REVIEW!
Today I want to talk to you about an amazing game that came out back in 2019: LITTLE MISFORTUNE. This is the second game of the small independant Swedish company Killmonday Games.
The story
Little Misfortune is a little 8 year old girl who lives with her negligeant parents. One day, a voice in her head called Mr.Voice asks her if she wants to play a game and win eternal happiness. Little Misfortune accepts to play and leaves her house on a quest for eternal happiness for her mom.
Review
This game is both adorable, funny and quite sad. If you enjoy chill games that are mostly story based, you will love this. The gameplay is pretty simple, you make choices as the main character and your choices have consequences on the story. Be prepared to laugh, cry and even sometimes be shocked! Some topics in the game are quite dark, serround the idea of death and trauma in children so I wouldnt recommend it to people who might be under the age of 18 because of the swearing that can be found in the game as well as the dark humor and imagery that is present.
For me, this game is a masterpiece and definitly worth a play or watching a playthrough online.Hope you enjoy this review,
Lots of love,
Elizabeth_C.K.
