Following Themes On The Vote

The Vote has been around for quite some time now (after it replaced the Catwalk competition), so I'm sure we all know how it works.

You are given a theme, and you have to take a picture of your doll and/or suite that embodies the theme. And then you submit it to 'The Vote' for a small fee of 10 SC.

I absolutely love this competition because it allows me to express my creativity and also to see how creative other members are as well. But there is one continuous problem that I have noticed for some time now. A lot of entries are not abiding with the theme.

Themes are given for a specific reason. The game wants everyone to have a fair playing ground so that people can vote on the content of the picture and not just because the picture looks nice. Whether the theme be THE SEVENTIES, or MARILYN MONROE, or THE BEACH, you have to include something, ANYTHING that can relate to the theme in your picture.

Let's say that today's theme is THE BEACH, but you want to enter a normal picture of yourself in an evening gown in your bedroom: What does that have to do with the beach?
Think about all those other dollies that are actually trying to think of an awesome picture to emulate the theme; think about how they are probably heading to the Starplaza to find and buy clothing and furniture to help them win. These dollies put a lot of effort into it because it is a competition, not just a place where you can enter any and every picture you want.

The Vote is fun, and it is open to everyone. Please just follow the rules and the themes.
