How are you feeling?
Hi All, Alice here!
As we get older, we tend to have 'mood swings'. We don't know why we feel emotional, sad or angry. Parents just usually take it in their stride, which we should be thankful for - otherwise we wouldn't have anyone there for us...
When I'm feeling emotional and like I'm going to cry for no reason, I tend to go into my room and listen to some music. It calms me down, although, I do sometimes end up crying into my duvet and I don't know why.
Scientists say, "It is natural to feel like this for teenagers", which makes me feel more normal. So, never worry if you are crying and you don't know why; most of us are doing the same thing.
Anger is something that we all hate to be because we can't control ourselves from going rage. However, when I am angry at something, I will go upstairs and calm down alone so I don't shout at anyone.
You should never feel obliged to stay with others when you are feeling not quite like yourself. The best thing to do is sit in your room and calm down.
