For this post, I thought I'd style some of my favorites from 2024!

From the start of the year, my favorite Winter tribute was definitely Y/Project. I styled the knee-high wire belt heels with this Dion Lee silver mini dress that works perfectly with the Y/Project style. I went for a simple mini bag and some black sunglasses, and then these oversized earrings and cuffs from December's Subcouture – one of my favorite limited releases of the year. Next is the denim maxi dress, worn by Rihanna with matching denim boots in April 2023. I love head-to-toe denim moment with the boots, but I went with a pair of matching denim shorts instead, and as the dress is quite simple, I chose these heels made from mismatched upcycled watches. I added a slouchy bag worn under the arm, some big sunglasses, and for jewelry some glam layered necklaces and mini hoops that contrast the faded worn-out style of the denim. As an alternative, you could swap the glam jewelry for the Panconesi earrings from the first outfit instead. 

Next, some special mentions from the Winter tribute season! I loved both pairs of black boots from the Alexander McQueen tribute, and either would work for this first outfit – I went for the contrast between the sleek style of Slash Flare boots with the ruffle mini dress, while the Armadillo Bow boots are more matchy with the dress. I kept the accessories simple with the silver bean necklace and drop earrings, some black sunglasses, and a black shoulder bag. Bottega Veneta made its tribute season debut in 2024, and I couldn't get enough of the sheer cotton dress and H Beam earrings! For this outfit, I went for a Y2K vibe with the silver wireframe sunglasses, some strappy black heels, and the Coperni CD player handbag that’s perfect for the look. 

Miu Miu was one of my favorites from the summer tribute season. Highlights include the different colored briefs and of course the two miniskirts, especially the white ruffle mini skirt. My favorite styling was with this sporty track jacket, a contrasting style to the skirt but still tying in with the ruffle stripes detail down the sleeves. For accessories, I added a pair of black kitten heels and bag, some white frill socks, and gold hoops. Next, these brown leather boots were another favorite from the tribute, and I love them paired with these mini shorts with the matching brown belts. I went for a Kate Moss at Glastonbury 2005-inspired outfit, adding a white tank top (swap for a little black waistcoat or slinky gold top) and a slouchy oversized bag worn on the shoulder. I chose simple gold jewelry, but something like one long pendant necklace would also work.

Another favorite from the summer tribute season was Dsquared2, another debut brand for tribute season! I styled the leather biker pants with an Alessandra Rich cropped tank, contrasting the distressed leather with the rhinestone embellishment. I added a choker and chunky hoops, and then some red accessories to tie in with the detail on the top. Next is the black leather mini dress, inspired by a pair of pants reinterpreted as a dress. I styled the dress with the iconic thigh-high RiRi heels – named after Rihanna, first seen wearing the black version back in 2015, and this red pair to the Met Gala in 2017. Tyla recently wore them in her music video for Push 2 Start. I added the oversized zebra fur coat and accessorized with some silver hoops and a black cap.
