- They're getting married! Miley Cyrus has finally confirmed her engagement to Liam Hemsworth: "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam", she stated earlier today. Miley and Liam met when they costarred in The Last Song back in 2009 and he proposed to her on May 31 with a 3.5-carat ring from jeweler Neil Lane. We're so jealous! Congrats to the happy couple, we wish you all the best! (people)
ElleGirl- We love a royal affair just as much as the next girl, so even though our invite for Queen Elizabeth II’s last-ever Diamond Jubilee got lost in the mail, we decided the next best thing was to dress for the occasion. We’ve kept our eyes peeled on Her Majesty as she’s celebrated her 60 years as Monarch, and we’ve been blown away by her amazing regal ensembles, including tailored skirt suits, eccentric headwear, and classic pearls. Following the Queen’s (and Queen-to-be’s) lead, we’ve compiled a guide to achieving timeless royal style. The Fascinator The Brits have been donning fascinators (code for fancy headpieces) since the days of Diana, and newbie Kate Middleton has taken the trend head-on—literally—sporting eccentric hats wherever she goes (the Duchess was even crowned “Hat Person of the Year” by The Headwear Assocation!). In short, you’re not dressing like a royal unless you’re wearing one of these babies on your head.

Pieces fuille bow fascinator, $16. The Skirt Suit When we think of a skirt suit, we can’t help but picture something our grandma would wear—but it doesn’t have to be that way. Give the age-old look a chic update by mixing and matching the top and bottom—it’s just as dressy, but a little more fun.

- Check this out: two of our time's most successful singers in a fashion duel! Epic! We spotted Katy Perry in her new goth inspired look, wearing this sheer black dress. But did you know Rihanna wore a similar dress back in 2010? She chose the red version of it, and matched it with her old haircolor. But that leads us up to the big question: Who wore it best? Kate Bosworth went for a more edgy look in a shorter version of the dress wearing strappy heels, and model Laura Bailey wore a long sleeved dress matched with chunky heels. - We're not looking forward to the final episode of Gossip Girl, but Leighton Meester (who plays Blair) says she can't wait to move on from Upper East Side: "It's great to move on and do something different", she explains. "It's bittersweet, that's the perfect word for it.", she continued. Instead she wants to go on with her music career, and she's planning on releasing an album by the end of this year. And if you want to see even more of the rich and famous of Gossip Girl, we're afraid we must dissappoint you, because there are no plans of doing a movie: "I've never heard anything from the producers or from anyone involved with Gossip Girl", she reveals.
