- It had been a year since Pappah had left Earth and life had not been quite the same without him. I always wondered what he was doing, and whether he was happy back in Ozon…but I tried to make the most of it. I realized that not having my father around, I had to look after myself. And deep down I knew that that meant coming to terms with who I am. High school was over now and I was an adult. Scary, uh? I eventually signed up to my college swimming team and did what I loved most – swimming for hours on end. But something had changed! No one was laughing at me, instead they were in awe of my abilities, and soon I was famous. I even made friends! Real friends, who accepted me for who I am. Had Pappah been around those would have been the happiest times of my life. I felt normal, loved and ready to lead my life.

- My father explained to me that the way that I swim, and the way that I interact with water was unique to my Ozonian heritage. I always knew we were different but a different planet! I wasn’t prepared for that at all. As time went on, I discovered that I could control the element of water in certain ways, but I didn’t know what to do with it. Pappah had the same powers and he taught me how to start controlling them, but there were still some slip ups!
