We’re used to see Kristen Stewart as this awkward, unsure girl in front of the camera. And to be honest, that’s exactly how we think she’s as a private person too. So we must say we were pretty surprised when we heard that she is the new spokesperson for Balenciaga's new perfume. The perfume will be released by this fall. Balenciaga’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiére, says that they’ve chosed Kristen for her “unique sensibility and intelligence” and that “she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.” Sure she’s unique, but as a spokesperson it’s your face that’s in focus and how will Kristen handle that? She always looks so awkward in front of the camera and she’s not really the “beauty” kind of girl. (refinery29)
