Sultry waves were abundant on the red carpet at this year’s Oscars, and on all hair lengths. Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, and others all went for the classic spring/summer trend. Keep reading to find out hoe to make great beach waves. All you need is a good nights sleep.
Step 1. You may not need heat products, but you can’t forget your styling tools Make sure you have a lot of bobby pins and hairspray. Blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons are not needed for this natural wavy look.
Step 2. Section and bun it Part your hair into different sections. Make each section of hair into a tight bun. secure the buns with your bobby pins. You may look crazy now, but your waves will look awesome in the morning.
Step 3. Spray and Sleep Spray some hairspray on each bun and wrap your hair up with a silk scarf. In the morning, take out all of your buns and toss your hair with your head down. Scarlett Johansson’s chic bob (pictured above) gave a messy but elegant look to her waves. To get this look, ditch wrapping your buns with a scarf before going to bed.
