Previously, I did a blog post all about 2000s fashion and I had so much fun doing that blog post, so I thought I would do one all about '90s fashion.
So many trends that are popular now were created in the '90s, so I didn't get the chance to cover every trend, but I did my best. Also to add: when writing this that I realized my entire wardrobe is from the '90s.
This first outfit is a recreation of an outfit that Rachel wore in Friends. Preppy style was a huge part of the '90s, mostly due to Clueless, which is iconic. This Tartan skirt and white polo jumper are super cute. Knee high socks were another huge trend. For the second outfit, I was again was inspired by Friends. Mom jeans were such a huge trend and even now they are everywhere. This silk top was inspired by Kate Moss and flannel along with tying items around your waist was very popular. The platform shoes are so '90s and are a nod to the Spice Girls.
This 3rd look is inspired by many movies and shows that I have watched from the '90s. The babydoll dress trend and layering dresses over tops, which is a trend that was huge last year, along with the white sneakers and the backpack which were super popular back in the '90s. This last outfit isn't the cutest, however dungarees were on everyone from the cast of Friends to Will Smith. Denim jackets were also popular along with the crop top. Lastly are these sandals, which were inspired by the jelly shoe trend.
