This collection brings some edge to an otherwise supersoft velvet touch - with a timely, well-judged reading of what fall's fashion concious want in their repertoire. Draped silk velvet is back on the agenda, injected with more than a fair bit of showmanship, full-legged and fluid, with strong shoulders and contrasting tones -- this is a new language for velvet spoken softly, but with impeccable grammar.
