Tips on keeping your account safe
Hello starblog readers.
As somebody who has been on stardoll for a long time I wanted to share with you some tips I've learned over the years on keeping your accounts safe and avoiding various scams.
1, Scam: "Want a free makeover? Send me your password it's hack free!"
The truth: There is nothing wrong with giving a makeover on stardoll BUT there is no need to give out your password! All you need to do is go to their suite, click beauty parlor, do the makeover and take a photo by clicking the button you can see here. The photo will be saved in your pictures where your friend can look at it and copy what you did. No password required!
2, Scam "I'm a member of the stardoll staff and if you change your email address to _______ I will make you superstar"
The truth: This is a lie. Remember all stardoll staff members have this symbol on their page
Real stardoll staff members will NEVER ask for your password or to change your email address so do not believe anyone who says otherwise.
3, Scam: "I have lots of phone credit and I'm making people superstar for free"
The truth: This is probably the most common scam I see especially in clubs and the worst thing is so many people still fall for it. Nobody gives out free superstar memberships to people that they don't even know so don't believe them! They will just change your password and steal your account. If you see a topic like this in a club report it and ignore it.
I hope these tips help you.
