One of my favourite things in the entire world is when there’s a huge thunderstorm outside and it’s raining and loud but I’m all tucked up in my bed, and it’s like I’ve never felt safer than I am in that moment. The best part is when it rains hard because it sounds like white noise everywhere, which is almost like silence, but not empty.

It always reminds me of that song from The Sound Of Music, "My Favourite Things"
