Celebrities are usually quite adamant about giving hugs to fans because of the possible transfer of germs and what not, but Nick Cannon who is married to one of the biggest celebrity clean freaks there is, recently decided to make the Guinness World Record of most hugs given! Nick hosted an event at the Mets Plaza in Queens, New York, yesterday in hopes of giving out 1800 hugs to break the previous record. We can't imagine wifey Mariah Carey was fully on board with the idea... She probably stayed far, far away! For his children's sake, we really hope he didn't catch anything icky.
